Working from home is a fantastic lifestyle and is a growing area in the modern business world that has even continued as an upward trend during the last two economic recessions.

Landing one of the best online jobs that you see advertised on job boards can seem daunting, confusing and frustrating especially when you apply over and over again and never get a response.
Think about this typical scenario. A company needs to fill a remote onlinesupport position. They place ads on popular job boards for a few weeks and receive hundreds, and sometimes thousands of applications. You may be an excellent candidate but how are they going to find you in all that noise? The answer is to avoid entirely. Here’s how.
Take the best jobs you found advertised and jump on Google. Search for the email address and/or phone number of the person at the company where you want to work who would most likely be the supervisor over the advertised position. It’s not as hard as it sounds and you will likely find the right person in less than 5 minutes.
Email them an introductory email and include your resume referencing the open position. Explain in the email that you have questions that you would like to discuss before applying. If it’s not the right person, they will usually send you to the person who is. Never underestimate how helpful people will be for a polite professional-sounding person reaching out. If your email doesn’t receive a response, try the phone number you found. Be polite, respectful and persistent.
If calling and speaking to this person makes you nervous, remember that if you did get the job, this person would be your supervisor. You’d have to talk to them at some point, why not now?
